Personal and Professional DevelopmentCoaching is a goal-directed approach which aims to identify and harness a person's strengths and skills to help them achieve improvements in their lives. It is not therapy but it often results in improved self-esteem, greater self-belief and a sense of empowerment. Coaching does not involve telling people what to do: it involves exploring options and challenging self-limiting beliefs so that people can realise their potential. A coach is essentially a facilitator: my job is not to tell you the answers; it is to guide you along a path so that you can find the answers for yourself. This is fundamentally a collaborative approach.
I offer cognitive-behavioural, motivational interviewing, solution focussed, transactional analysis, psychodynamic, mindfulness and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) approaches to coaching a variety of clients including those wishing to make life changes and those who work in leadership and management positions particularly in middle management and executive roles. I am able to offer coaching to address the following issues:

I also offer clinical supervision, coaching and mentoring to psychological practitioners who wish to develop their clinical skills and careers further. If you are an assistant psychologist, a trainee psychologist or qualified psychologist or psychological therapist, I can offer you a series of sessions to help you think about the challenges you face in your job or career. As a mentor, I am able to offer you guidance based on my career as someone who has worked in a variety of fields and roles, which include forensics, health, management, leadership, service and business development and coping with organisational change. I will help you navigate through potential career choices and explore with you options for enhancing your skillset.
